Movement is the Key
Movement! Participation! Inclusion! These are important words to the success of Physical Education programs. This session will provide both creative and cooperative ideas (games) for instructors to conduct in their PE classes. Latest surveys show the majority of parents want more physical activity for their children to fight obesity problems. The games demonstrated here are structured to have the majority of the students participating - not standing around. Cardiovascular games and problem-solving activities incorporate teamwork, communication and trust among participating students and make this a must-attend session. As educators we are responsible for promoting the best practices in PE.
