The Effects Of An Intervention Program On Body Composition And Body Weight On Overweight & Obese African-American Adolescent Girls
This session presents results of an exploratory investigation designed to examine the effects of a short-term intervention program introduced in conjunction with an existing program to influence energy expenditure and eating choices, and reduce weight and body fat in African-American female girls. The secondary aim is to determine if the behavioral changes related to strategies used in intervention persist beyond the time frame of the program.
