Modern Dance Technique
This modern dance technique class moves through holistic warm-up sequences using circling, spiraling, and swinging, and culminates in dance combinations characterized by directional and spatial variation. The work is grounded in the principles of the Humphrey-Limon technique. This exhilarating, dynamic movement can be approached on different levels; it can be adapted to the individual's range of motion and capabilities. The class is challenging for active dancers, as well as seasoned dance educators. Presented by the NCAAHPERD Dance Educator of the Year 2002-2003.
