A Successful Multi-Layer, Team-Based Approach to NCATE / NASPE Review
For a physical education, academic unit to achieve a smooth and successful NCATE / NASPE review and accreditation, it requires the integrated, collaborative, concerted efforts of many layers of university personnel. This session provides a review of a coordinated, team-based approach, to include presentations by various university officials: Associate Vice President, Office of Academic Affairs; Dean, College of Education; Chair, Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies; Faculty Member, Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies. Information and material will cover practical, but essential elements, including personnel, organization, preparation, timelines, roles and responsibilities, procedures, communication, and resources.
