NASPE/Sport Management Council
Sport Management Pedagogy Workshop
This workshop will examine pedagological issues in sport management. While minimum curriculum content requirements have been identified through the NASPE/NASSM Sport Management Program Review Council for these programs, little emphasis has been given to the art of teaching these competencies. Focus of the workshop will be the identification of “best practice” methods for the effective preparation of future sport professionals. Additional emphasis will be given to innovative methods being applied in sport management educational programs throughout the country. Lastly an open sharing session will be incorporated in which all participants will be asked to share syllabi and projects.
