Innovative Strength Exercises for a Senior Adult Exercise Program
The innovative senior adult strength exercise program will focus on the use of the new flex wand. Approximately 15 exercises will be presented including joint action and muscle involvement. The audience is encouraged to participate in the exercise program. The flex wand is a four foot, light-weight, elastic rod, which varies in tension strength in relation to the rod diameter. The flex wand is designed to provide a variety of progressive resistance exercises through a range of movement patterns.
