Chair/Pillow Dance
"Chair/Pillow Dance," originally choreographed by Yvonne Rainer, is a work that can be performed by anyone, anywhere. Reconstructed by East Carolina Dance faculty Pat Pertalion and Dawn Clark, this "classic" postmodern work will be taught in one convention session, followed by one rehearsal (time and location TBA), and performed during the Kaleidoscope event. Participants will have direct experience learning this repertory piece and develop an appreciation for the postmodern dance genre. Participants will need to provide their own pillow.
