Adventure: Using Experiential Learning in a PE Setting
This session is designed to teach the participants a 'proven' method of micro-sequencing adventure based and problem solving activities. The students have experienced many of the existing activities used in programs numerous times before. Using an approach that matches the student’s level of learning and previous experience with the program objectives, the session will explore how to 'modify' many of the standard adventure activities to meet the current objectives of the class. This will be a 'hands on' active session focusing on new teaching strategies for adventure education in the Physical Education setting.
