Creating Physical Activity Communities
You teach at an elementary, middle or high school; direct a community recreation program; teach physical education majors at a university; and are interested in seeing that children in your community receive quality physical activity. Join us for a discussion on how to initiate the process of building better physical activity programs in your community. Presenters will share how they approached the connection process. Focusing on the 2004 AAHPERD theme, "Together We Can Lead the Way", this presentation will address how universities, schools, and communities can work together to improve physical activity programs for all children in urban settings.
