Digital Pictures Can Support and Enhance Physical Education Programs
Implementing technology into the physical education curriculum can benefit students and teachers! Pictures can stimulate student creativity, provide for interdisciplinary opportunities, motivate learners, and offer visible skill examples. Teachers can benefit through use of pictures in the assessment process, creation of effective learning materials (i.e., task cards), and in producing public relations materials. Strategies for using pictures in assessment, instructional materials, presentation, posters and more will be addressed for the audience. Additionally, this workshop will demonstrate picture downloading and provide hands-on experience with photo management for the participants.
