Modifying Adventure Based Activities For Elementary Students
This sesion will examine several popular initiative and problem solving activites commonly used in Adventure Based Programming and examine ways in which they may be modified to be made developmentally appropriate for elementary and adapted students. Alternate materials and parameter modifications will be discussed and possible modifications will be suggested. Audience members will have the opportunity to take part in these activities and will be allowed to share other strategies they have used that have allowed activities to be successfully used at lower levels.
