Health Education in the 21st Century -- Revisited
Susan Wooley, American School Health Association, Kent, OH and Ellen Capwell, Otterbein College, Westerville, OH

Find out how you can move the profession of health education forward in the 21st Century. Representatives of several national organizations, federal agencies, foundations, and the non- profit and for-profit sectors met recently to consider the context in which health education is delivered and how health educators can most effectively contribute to improved health outcomes. During this session, panelists who attended the Health Education in the 21st Century meeting will share the meeting’s recommendations and invite the audience to offer ways they can personally and as part of associations and employment institutions increase the relevance and effectiveness of health education practice.
