Scene Smoking -- Cigarettes, Cinema and the Myth of Cool: An interdisciplinary program for High School and College/University

An interdisciplinary program addressing the First Amendment, social responsibility and artists' rights with regard to tobacco use depiction in film and television, will be shared in this interactive session. During this session, high school and college/university faculty will: view the award-winning documentary film, Scene Smoking: Cigarettes, Cinema and the Myth of Cool, receive a copy of the two teacher's guides (high school and college), participate in instructional activities, and discuss evaluation strategies for both education settings.
