The first half of this year's program will be "Coming to America". Each year thousands of International students come to America to pursue their educational dreams. A student panel will share what brought them to America, what they found, and will give insights into how programs can be improved. Anyone who teaches international students will benefit from attending this session. The second half of the session will feature Sports Ambassadors, which offers international educational/sports programs for American youth ages 12-19 in 7 sports: soccer, basketball, bowling, swimming, tennis, baseball, and volleyball. Athletes are placed on national teams (formulated in an overseas training camp) and then compete in established tournaments. Programs last from 10 to 14 days. Credit is offered through Eastern Washington University.
