| Performance Contracting: A Negotiated Process of Administrative Evalution | ||
| William Sparks and William Sparks, Washburn University, Topeka, KS Leadership in today's world has become a challenging enterprise. Altruistic goals that were a part of the culture of our ancestors are disappearing. The critical elements today have become credit-hour-production, client satisfaction and management by objectives. Programs are being supported or eliminated and administrators are being hired or fired based upon their ability to respond to this changing environment. This session will explore performance contracting, a new concept in administrator evaluation. Utilizing a process in which evaluation is based upon negotiated goals, the administrator provides input into formulating evaluation criteria. Discussion/feedback will conclude the session. | ||
