| Eliminating Tuberculosis in the Workplace in Central New York |
| For the United State’s goal of tuberculosis [TB] elimination to be realized, reservoirs of latent tuberculosis infection [LTBI] must be identified, and a high rate of completed treatment achieved. Workers represent a population which is potentially readily accessable for TB elimination activities. Moreover, many industries employ a large percentage of foreign-born persons, the group with the highest risk of developing active tuberculosis in the US. |
