Youth and Diversity
The first presentation intends to encourage and support involvement of all faculty/staff in support of the academic and personal needs of GLBT students. The second presentation provides health educators with skills for addressing issues related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered youth in schools using the Coordinated School Health Program as a framework for discussing these issues. The final presentation assists middle and/or high schools to create or strengthen gay/straight alliances or diversity programs in either a community or site-based setting.
