PE Isn't just balls and bats... there is 'ADVENTURE'
This session will explore how to integrate adventure education into the Physical Education Curriculum. First, we will briefly explore how national and state standards are supporting the use of outdoor adventure into the curriculum. Next, the session will explore how to sequence adventure into the curriculum by exploring current theory and methodology. Finally, the curriculum of the Wilderness Education Association will be shared and discussed as a model and resource for educators.
