Worksite Violence Prevention
Workplace violence has received increasing attention over the last three decades as a substantial contributor to occupational injury and death. The U.S. National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) reports that homicide has become the second leading cause of occupational injury death. Workplace violence is a problem of increasing magnitude in all industries. This presentation examines recent literature on the scope of violence and of workplace violence prevention.
