Sharing Our Strengths: 2002 Middle and High School NASPE Teachers of the Year
Join the 2002 NASPE Teachers of the Year as they share their ideas, practices and curricula that have been “kid tested” and “NASPE approved”. The national standards will be incorporated into each session and effective learning activities will be presented. A variety of teaching methods and varied equipment will be utilized. TOY Story I: The middle school TOYs will kick off the session by presenting large group games, team sports, step aerobics and individual activities. The use of pedometers and assessments will be included. TOY Story II: In the sequel, the high school TOYs will present icebreakers/warm-ups, team building and team play, rhythms, fitness fun, student assessment and motivational techniques.
