| This session is a game official’s guide to dealing with fighting. While most team sports have specific rules about fighting, much confusion abounds among the officiating community regarding the role of the official in the prevention of player violence -- and in dealing with those situations where fights do occur -- despite the official’s best efforts! The session discusses game management and legal liability related to officiating, coaching and administration. |
