Building Electronic Portfolios In PE: A Hands-on Workshop
Electronic portfolio development in physical education can help students document evidence of their NASPE standards-based learning and provides the teacher with a powerful tool to assess student centered outcomes. Furthermore, teachers in physical education can keep their students more engaged with the curriculum by having them create electronic portfolios outside of class. Electronic portfolios allow students to collect or create artifacts from key learning experiences and to showcase their learning in their portfolio. This workshop will be hands-on and take the attendee through the steps to create their own electronic portfolio using many multimedia tools.
