JUMP Start Your Curriculum with Physical Best
Incorporate Physical Best into your physical education program with jump rope and rhythm games and station activities! Physical Best activities have been developed and successfully used by physical educators from around the country to help students “do and understand” health-related fitness concepts. The activities presented in this session are designed to help students gain the knowledge, skills, appreciation, and confidence needed to lead physically active, healthy lifestyles. Through elementary and secondary Physical Best and other health-related fitness activities, the connection between teaching fitness concepts in class and organizing a Jump Rope for Heart Event will be made.
