Helping Inactive Adults to Become More Physically Active
This workshop is designed to provide practitioners with tools and strategies to help inactive adults become more active. Increasingly, people are acknowledging the importance of physical activity, but struggle to change their behavior patterns. The traditional approach of enticing adults into activity via special program offerings is important, but it is the second step in the process. The first step is to convert intentions into action. Based on a behavioral change approach, this workshop is designed for health and wellness professionals desiring a practical approach for helping inactive adults become more active.
