The CATCH Kids Club: A Physical Activity Program for After-School & Summer Recreation Settings
Millions of children today have their only parent or both parents working outside the home. These families have a clear need for childcare programs during after school hours and when school is not in session. The unstructured time after school and during the summer provides a ready-made opportunity for programs to fill this childcare need with enjoyable and safe structured physical activity. The goal of this session is to present an overview of the CKC program and to share fun and active games from the CKC physical activity box.
