M.U.S.C.L.E. (Move to Understand, Strengthen, Challenge, Lift, and Empower) Women
As sport for girls and women continues to grow in popularity, the need to educate students, athletes, coaches, and parents regarding gender issues and controversies within the sport setting is greater than ever. This session will introduce participants to a variety of teaching tools, including activities, games, and assignments, that can be utilized in this educational process. Attendees will have the opportunity to actively participate throughout the session. Lastly, a summary and discussion of the current status of sport for girls and women will be included.
