From Textbook to Practice: Applications of Motor Learning Principles
This session will present applications of various motor learning principles for the practioner. One of the more prominent motor learning laws, Fitts' Law, will be discussed for understanding, and then suggestions for application in both an open and closed skill sport will be made. In addition, setting up practice schedules for an open and closed skill sport will also be discussed. Participants should come prepared to participate in activity.
