Engaging Your Audience Before Your Presentation Even Begins!
When community-based health educators get called into formal educational settings to give presentations, sometimes it can be challenging to engage an unfamiliar audience. For example, if your agency deals primarily with middle aged women, relating to college co-eds may be a venture. Since discussion is the foundation of active learning, this session contains short, practical, easy to implement methods that are focused on getting student audiences to interact with you as well as with their peers. Expect to experience these methods during this hands-on session and take back tips which can be implemented at your very next presentation.
