Ethel Does Menopause: Alternative Exercise Approaches
As Baby Boomers continue to age, menopause is being discussed more openly and with a frankness as never before. As more women participate in exercise programs, it becomes important to investigate the effects exercise will have on these Baby Boomers as they progress through menopause. The purpose of this session will be to review findings of traditional health and exercise programs and introduce nontraditional approaches. What should we know about Tai Chi, Yoga, and other exercise and wellness programs as alternatives in dealing with menopause?
