The purpose of this interactive session is two-fold. The first is to focus on discussing the present culture of adolescent sexuality in regards to increased risk behaviors and a casual attitude toward sex. The second is to participate in interactive activities appropriate for the 9-12 grade classroom that promote positive behaviors regarding sex. Participants will leave with a packet they can utilize in their classroom. This session is appropriate for the new or veteran school health educator as well as those in higher education who teach in a pre-professional program.
