This session will provide a background, summary, analysis, and sharing of events that took place at the Third World Conference on Women and Sport, held in Montreal, Canada. Descriptions of the scope, sequence, and networking of the movement worldwide will be highlighted. Short presentations will be conducted by well-known speakers who represent international and national organizations: Dr. Carole Oglesby (WomenSport International President), Dr. Marj Snyder (Associate Executive Director of the Women's Sports Foundation), Dr. Gudrun Doll-Tepper (ICSSPE President), Dr. Christine Shelton (IAPESGW Vice President), Athena Yiamouyiannis (Executive Director, NAGWS), and Dr. Darlene Kluka (IAPESGW Board of Consultants).
