CATCH Hearts N' Parks In Action
An active demonstration of activities and strategies currently being used in park and recreation agencies throughout the country to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors. Hearts N' Parks is a national program that moves science-based information into practice. Co-sponsored by the National Institute of Health and the National Recreation and Parks Association, the goal of the program is to mobilize existing community resources to reach people of all ages with information and fun activities that promote heart healthy behaviors. CATCH recreation activities for youth including basketball, Frisbee and aerobic games and will be demonstrated.
