Using Interactive Instruction to Teach Motor Skill Recognition and Remediation
Recognizing and remediating movement patterns in young children is critical to teaching physical skills to children and youth. This symposium showcases one innovative WebCT video-based set of interactive instructional modules designed to teach critical diagnostic and pedagogical skills across specific motor patterns. Hands-on application of digital video imaging of movement patterns, supplemental course materials, and a seven step approach to the development of interactive learning technologies are provided. Suggested applications for other content areas are also summarized for interactive computer-based learning activities. Audience participants will leave with a demonstration copy of the software presented.
