Community Building and Character Education in the Gym
This session is designed for elementary and middle school Physical Educators and will give the attendees activities and ideas to make their classrooms more of an emotionally supportive environment. Activities will be presented in the areas of character education, team warm-ups choice, team building and alternative assessment techniques. Learn about focus words, team talks, peer reflection and team support and how they can contribute to the intrinsic motivation of children. Make your gym more of a relationship driven environment.
