Connecting with Graduate Schools: Asking Questions and Getting Answers
StructureEthnic Minority Council
DescriptionThis program is designed to provide students, especially students of color from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, with the opportunity to discuss graduate education possibilities with graduate faculty. To that end, higher education professionals will lead Round Table discussions to offer information and respond to questions posed by session attendees. The Round Table format will give attendees opportunities to rotate from one table to another, listening, questioning, and receiving information about various aspects of graduate education (e.g., admission criteria, funding, mentoring). The Round Tables will have faculty representing various specialization areas (e.g., physical education pedagogy, exercise science, recreation, sport management).
