"Stop the Tears" is a alcohol and substance abuse prevention program developed by students at Black Hills State University. It is a shinning example of "Advocacy Through Action" and has been recognized by the Department of Highway Safety as being one of the top three prevention programs in the nation last year. The goals and objectives of this presentation address how to enable students to become involved in grasroots advocacy efforts that can impact their communities and the world around them.
