Passport to Wellness: Wellness BUCKS as Incentive
Chrissy Bloome, Mt. Hood Community Colle, Gresham, OR

The Passport to Wellness program is used at a suburban community college to encourage personal and community wellness. Wellness BUCKS are given as an incentive to be involved. Later, these "BUCKS" can be used in a Wellness Auction to bid on a variety of items including cash, gift certificates, clothing, and more. BUCKS are earned by attending both on and off-campus events which enhance personal and/or community wellness (e.g., attending events of music, diversity, spirituality, etc.), individual wellness programs, donating blood, and bonus activities. This program brings together all campus populations in a commuter environment.
