"Kids Are Winners" How To Start, Develop, and Establish an Elementary/Jr. High League
This is a coordinated effort between Stanford University based,"Positive Coaching Alliance" and The Curtis School located in Los Angeles. The Curtis program (DK-8) has a long established competitive sports program which models the"PCA" style with its own fundamental sports philosophy. This philosophy includes: 1)Skill level teams grades 4-8 2)Emphasis on the best qualities of competitive play 3)Life long lessons or value oriented emphasis Also, this session will focus on practical tools for coaches. Participants will learn about positive coaching tools and framework in order to incorporate them into their coaching, parenting and youth sport organization administration.
