| Using Jump Bands to Assess Standards in Rhythms and Fitness |
| Jump Bands are a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to teach rhythmic activities, jumping skills and fitness. This session will provide participants with live demonstrations of (and an opportunity to participate in) a gradual progression of activities using jump bands. Handouts include a lesson plan for a beginning lesson, a guide to teaching the basic steps, connections to national and state standards and a series of assessment ideas. |
