AAALF/Aquatic Council
Teacher of Adapted Aquatics Credential Workshop
For 9 years AAALF’s Aquatic council has sponsored one of only two adapted aquatic instructional credential programs in the nation. There will be a new option available, culminating at the AAHPERD convention in Cincinnati. The new Teacher of Adapted Aquatics training is a "correspondence" type course consisting of a three-part study system: 1) Correspondence study with a mentor. (Phase I) 2) Participation in a 4-hour on-site practicum in the pool at the Cincinnati convention. (Phase II practicum) 3) Passing an on-site exam at the Cincinnati convention. (Phase III Final Exam) A brochure outlining this course is available from the AAALF office.
