Native American Culture--What Every Teacher and Coach Should Know |
The Medicine Wheel is a symbol used by almost all Native peoples of North & South America. The principles of the Medicine Wheel can be used to enhance our teaching and coaching at any level Elementary through University. This session will highlight many of these principles and how they can be readily applied to physical education and sport. Multimedia--slides, overheads & music will be used to illustrate. Time will be left at the end of the session for questions and discussion. |
