A Primer on Skin Cancer for HPER Professionals
HPER teachers and coaches will learn updated information pertaining to skin cancer: its rates, risks, prevention and treatments. Skin cancer is one of the most common and most preventable of all cancers. The speaker, who is a school health educator and melanoma survivor, will share vital facts about the importance of including skin cancer lessons in health education and physical education curriculums and instituting skin cancer prevention policies in school districts.
