WORK it, WALK it, WILL it: Building Confidence in Athletes |
This session will include the Sport Psychology Academy business meeting and presentation of the Dissertation Award followed by Ms. Vealey's presentation. This workshop is targeted to coaches, teachers, athletes, and sport psychology practitioners who are interested in enhancing self-confidence in athletes and students. The workshop takes a research-to-participate approach in over viewing important aspects of self-confidence as the most critical mental skill influencing sport performance. Handouts will be provided to participants including confidence building strategies, case studies, and worksheets to assess the self-confidence levels of athletes. |
