Move and Motivate Secondary Students Through Physical Best
A combination lecture and activity session will present basic concepts of a Secondary Physical Best Program such as varying activities, monitoring individual progression, combining motor skill acquisition with fitness development and providing linkages with health education and student services. The health-related fitness activities that will follow the lecture portion focus on personal goal setting and the development of personall health and fitness plans within the physical education context. The activities will also address strategies for the inclusion of students with special needs.
