Mild Adventure |
The audience will hear about alternatives to the usual strenuous adventure programs from speakers who have done them. The main activities covered will be backpacking, hiking, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, and sailing.
Our objectives are to encourage people to continue to explore activities they may have considered much to strenuous. New materials have made equipment lighter and easier to handle than ever before. Therefore, an activity once thought to be too strenuous is now within the capabilities of many more participants. |
