Incorporating Interdisciplinary Activities Into Physical Education and the Classroom
Participants will actively engage in activities designed to focus on the fundamental skills and fitness development while using concepts of body and space awareness, effort and relationships. Activities will incorporate geography, reading, math, science, and writing. All activities will be non-elimination/maximum participation, based upon the psychomotor, cognitive, and effective development of children. Attendees will be able to implement into their programs a number of activities that have developmentally appropriate physical education outcomes for children, but also have outcomes in a secondary content areas.
