Fitness Certification Continuum: Getting Certified, Staying Certified, Life After Certification
This program will take a comprehensive look at obtaining fitness certifications from inception to culmination, realizing fitness certifications are only a stepping stone in the quest for professional growth. Young professionals often consider certification the final step, when in reality it is the beginning of the certification continuum. Emphasis will be placed on the significance of obtaining continuing education to further hone skills and abilities. In addition, this presentation will identify benefits and types of fitness certifications offered by credible organizations. Strategies for maintaining certifications and professional development opportunities within the educational environment will be emphasized.
