Performance Indicators and Assessment Examples that Complement National Physical Education Standards
The purpose of this session is to present the preliminary performance indicators and assessment examples that have been designed by a NASPE Task Force to complement the National Physical Education Standards. This session will be interactive and will encourage conference participants to provide feedback to the Task Force for purposes of improving the performance indicators and assessment examples prior to submitting a final draft to the NASPE Cabinet. The performance indicators are grade level specific (K, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) and will be available to local school districts to assist teachers and administrators in understanding and determining what students should accomplish in physical education.
