Utilizing The Features of Microsoft Excel to Create/Manage A Grade |
Participants in this workshop will learn how the features of Microsoft Excel can help create and manage a grade book for any course. The first part of the session, will help participants understand how to layout a
grade book in Excel, define formulas for calculating grades, and use Excel's advanced features to streamline work. The second part of the session will provide teachers with examples of how students can use the Excel spread sheets as a learning tool. The third part of the presentation will be devoted to answering questions participants may have regarding the Features of Excel to Create and Manage A Grade Book, and using Excel as an authentic assessment tool. In addition, participants will be encouraged to share their ideas/strategies with one another with respect to how they Utilize The Features of Excel to Create and Manage A Grade Book, and/or as an assessment tool. Numerous handouts will be given. |
