| Standards and Assessment: Connections, Realities and Frustrations |
| How do standards and assessment realistically and practically relate to each other? This session will examine assesment as part of instruction, the difference between performance and authentic assessment, the relationship of standards to grading, and basing grades on physical fitness, dress, attendance, participation, effort, improvement and attitude. This is a “mind-on” session—stimulating, invigorating, challenging and guaranteed to inspire further discussion and debate. |
